Signs

Anyone who’s been reading my blog for some time has realized by now that I don’t write as much. It’s not just the quantity; the quality too has nosedived.

My muse has fled the scene, and my writing’s taken such a bad beating that it’s probably hiding somewhere, quaking in its shoes, fearing that I will re-discover it somehow!

But you know what they say – coincidences happen for a reason, and the signs are always out there if you notice.

So, consider this.

This morning, I got this weird story idea that looked quite promising. The twist in the story popped up too out of nowhere. Busy as I was with the usual chores, I put it on the back-burner. But imagine my surprise when I received a mail with almost the exact same story concept as the subject! I quickly hopped over to the link, and was relieved to find that it was completely unconnected.

But tell me now – is this a sign or what? Do you think this is my muse’s way of waving the white flag? Should I lay out the feast for my prodigal muse?

Let’s see if this streak lasts at all. If it does, I hope it turns out to be something good that I can share with you! 😀

    • Oh I do wish, Shankari, with all my heart! 🙂

LOL IW – I hope it doesn’t end up as – “jhoota hai tera vaada, vaada tera vaada” 😀
