Beat That

We were on holiday at my sister’s place in Mumbai for the past few days. Lil D and her cousin were having a whale of a time. However, initially, Lil D wanted me to be around, and kept whining whenever I retreated into our room.

Finally, I could not control my irritation.

“What is it with you?” I snapped. “We’re here on holiday, and I’ve left you completely free. I’m not following you around and telling you what to do all the time. I’m letting you do whatever you want, so why don’t you stop whining and let me do whatever I want?”

“But that’s what I’m doing,” she replied. “I’m doing whatever I want – I’m whining!”

Btw, how do you like Mumbai ? (No compulsion on liking it , you can whine if you dis-like aamchi Mumbai)

LOL IW! Extra coaching is extremely injurious to my health! πŸ˜€
I didn’t like Mumbai initially (I went during the monsoon!), but now, I can appreciate its spirit much better. I like many things about Mumbai, the chief being the professional and no-nonsense attitude. I think that alone makes a world of difference. This time, I got a taste of the street food, and it was yummy!
