It’s six days into Lil D’s summer vacation, and I feel like it’s already getting over too soon! I’m on a break too, and I don’t even boot my laptop some days! What bliss. The two months will zoom by, I just know it! Lil D’s now reached the stage where she is happy to do stuff on her own (perhaps I shouldn’t be calling her Lil D any more), and doesn’t need me all the time. So it’s a blast really, and we end up having some good times together.
Just the other day, I was watching “Ganga Jamuna” (the old Dileep Kumar one) which came uninterrupted (without a single ad break – wonderful!) on B4U Movies. I just love the songs, and was quite enjoying the movie, when she came and sat with me. The movie changed flavour almost completely.
Why is he running? Why is she upset? Why is she crying? Is it day or is it night? What do they do in the village without TV? What did you do when you didn’t have TV? Why is he looking up at the sky? Has the bird done potty on him? When is he going to die? Why are they living in caves? Did lions live there? How can the horse go faster than the train? Why are they robbing a train? When is he going to die? Why are we watching such a boring movie? When is he going to die? What has happened to the brother’s hair? Why has she died instead of him? Is he going to die now? Now? Now? Now?
If Dileep Kumar could only hear her, he would have died fifteen minutes into the movie!
