First, there was this, then this, and now, I’m happy to share with you the news that I’ve got the First Prize in SMS Poetry at the Khala Ghoda Festival 2009! It was a tie amongst three people.
This has been one helluva month, don’t you think?

They say good things happen in triplicates (or is it the bad things ?!) . Triple celebrations *clink*clink*clink*.. seems like 2009 is going to be your breakthrough year π
Yest I picked Norwegian Wood from library after your short review. I am impressed after reading the 1st chapter itself.. Keep posting your micro-recco’s.
You mean to say that’s the end of my good luck streak? π¦ I was hoping good things happen in tens and thousands π
Thanks for the wishes.
Do let me know how you like NW – I have a feeling it’s “your” kind of book (now don’t ask me to define that, coz I can’t!)

Well now yu are talking like Naoko & Toru.. who both struggle at being eloquent when it comes to expressing their innermost thoughts. But then, you are a writer and you can’t possibly suffer from this terrible malady ! I guess, you don’t want to embarrass me by spelling it it out in black & white as to why i would love NW π
But yeah, it’s my kind of book coz I can easily relate to its characters (i love going on long aimless walks & I do stare at blank spaces in search of words when I am with someone) . So far I have finished 45 pages.. still long way to go. So far so good..
π
Wow! I’m so happy to hear it. Way to go!
Thanks terri.
